Hello Friendly Person:

With whether like this, I’d like to propose that we make Day the new Night. I’m not just saying this because I’m just a few birthdays away from the Geriatric Raver’s Assisted Living Facility. Based on the last handful of Day parties I’ve been to, I think there are a lot of folks that feel the same way. Case in point: the Pier 32 renegade with the Mog we had a couple weeks back was completely last minute, but despite that we had a fantastic turnout, and it included many faces that you just don’t see out at Night anymore. Also some new faces—I’m talking about all those new Burner Babies wearing their cute little junior ear muffs for sound protection. Awwww.

Of course the Night parties aren’t going anywhere. I just want to show some love for the Day. On that note, there’s a special Day Party happening at Triple Crown THIS SUNDAY. Mancub, rrrus, and I are going to join them for their Sunday brunch party—this is a family affair, and the good folks at TRIPLE CROWN are offering some very generous drink specials, including bottomless mimosas, and a whole brunch buffet. More details are below.

We’ve also got not ONE, but TWO new DJ mixes for you—one from the dynamic dou of J9 and Bassben, who want you to DO IT LIKE THAT! J9 and Bassben will also be celebrating their birthday tonight at Underground in Lower Haight, details about that, their new mix, and MY new DnB mix are below.

Space Cowboys will be bring the Mog and the music to this year’s Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, and just like last year it promises to be another great Day event (hence keeping with the theme of this edition of the announcement)!
