SunsetSF & Space Cowboys proudly present a Bay Area celebration of  YURI’S NIGHT: The World Space Party.

Yuri's Night - Space Cowboys - Public Works

Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA’s Space Shuttle.

Here is San Francisco, SunsetSF and the Space Cowboys, the forces behind Ghost Ship Halloween have joined up to create a local celebration with enough rocketfuel to send you into orbit.

Headlining the event will be two artists who make “vintage space music” their calling card. From LA comes DJ Sam Spiegel, co-creator of the seminal production team NASA who will drop a set of his patented astro-themed turntablism. DJ Dogu of the acclaimed Hamburg-based ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS, will play their dub-infused world breakbeat.

But that’s just the beginning of the fun as Public Works will have both their killer sound-systems in full effect and Silent Frisco outside.

Space Cowboy DJs:

  • 8Ball
  • Aaron Pope
  • Deckard
  • Kapt’N Kirk
  • Mancub
  • rrrus
  • Shooey
  • Sol
  • Zach Moore

SUNSET SF & SILENT FRISCO bring us: Motion Potion, Matt Haze, Shouts!, Phleck, and U9lift. ALLOFITNOW will mix and project authentic HD N.A.S.A footage on the walls. With Silent Frisco and food trucks outside and both rooms operating at full capacity, this is one party that will surely achieve liftoff.

+ Earlybird discount tix are available now for $17 while they last.
+ Door tickets are $20 and walk-up is $20 in costume, $25 not in costume.
