Chill Out 3

Howdy cowpokes,

It’s my first time on the Space Cowboys blog so be gentle. My name is Deckard, you may know me from such mixes as Some People Call Me a Space Cowboy, Ghost Ship or Breakfast of Champions. When not cranking up the beats at clubs I like to explore the prettier side of electronic music. I think you can see where I am going with this already. That’s right, full on dubstep bitches! Just kidding, that’s not how I roll.

I put the finishing touches on My Definition of Chill Volume II after starting it some 13 months ago. If I knew of someone else putting together compilations like this maybe it wouldn’t take me so damn long and I could just crib from them. Anyway, I digress.

After working on this mix on and off for over a year I believe I have formulated the proper uses and/or environments for this mix.

They are as follows:
  • Waking up
  • Winding down
  • Calming savage beasts (it works especially well on rhinos. More testing needed on gorillas)
  • Beach/park on a sunny day
  • Chilling anytime anywhere
  • Sitting on the toilet (eew, but still acceptable)

Designed and led by one of our very own Cowfolk (PK together with Rbca Anders & Jess Hobbs), the Temple of Flux is a product of many people from the sound-camps you know and love, so it’s only natural that they get together to through a party of eh “historic proportions”....

    So Tie on those togas, toss on the leafy crowns, strap on the sandals and let’s show the Romans how it’s really done! We’re gonna get down to a clash of the titans, raising funds to help build the Burning Man Temple 2010.
