Breakfast of Champions, 2010 - Same time, same good friends, new location: Kelly's Mission Rock! 2
On Jan 1st, 2010, Breakfast of Champions will be at Kelly’s Mission Rock!
That’s right, after something like 10 years on Florida Street – first at Potrero Brewing Company, later at Whisper – we’re moving Breakfast of Champions to a new venue, and we need YOUR help getting the word out.
When you’re in the same place for as long as we were, people don’t expect you to ever leave, and by now we’re guessing there’s a significant portion of people who just magically arrive at BoC on automatic pilot. What we’re hoping is that word of this move will spread like a like the latest internet meme, and when 6am rolls around on Jan 1st, 2010, all our good friends are happy and safe at Kelly’s. We don’t want to hear about poor inebriated souls staring hopelessly at the boarded up windows and locked doors of the old Whisper location.
So here’s the sound bite that you can spread to your friends: BoC is at Kelly’s this year! Don’t go to Whisper, it’s closed!
In related news, we’re selling tickets in advance through Eventbrite this year. The ticket is the same price, plus a small service charge, but people who buy in advance will get to enter in the shorter, faster, pre-paid ticket line.

I'm young and new to the SF party scene so pardon my potentially noobish comment-- is there a way to find out the lineup for BOC 2010?

Final line up and set times will get posted in a month or so. But you can expect all the usual suspects -- Space Cowboy DJs, other DJs who've played past BoCs, and some surprise guests we won't announce until the last minute.
