I've got a whole new rant simmer, but it's not quite ready to serve. Instead, 
I'll cut right to the chase -- we've got a whole bunch of stellar events going 
on in July, starting this Friday with a benefit for Burning Man 2010's Temple, 
the Temple of Flux -- more details below. We're also bringing the Mog to the 
Civic Center this Sunday for the World Cup finals. You'll also find the Mog at 
American Steel for Sand by the Ton at the end of the month. And there's a bunch 
of stuff going on between all that...

Saturday, July 17th SEISMIC Presents THE PLUMP DJs
The legendary Plump DJs are coming back to our fine city on the bay on July 17th 
to bring us a 2+ hour set of their signature sound.  For those of you who have 
joined us at Mighty for their past 2 events, you know what a treat we are in 
for. If you have missed them both times, then now is your chance to finally 
check them out. The Plump DJs are hands down one of the best DJ acts touring 
today, dominating the charts and racking up countless awards over the last 12 
years.

The Plump DJs sound is revered for its blurring of the boundries between 
electronic musical styles taking in Breakbeat, Hip Hop, House and Techno. From 
the now legendary Laboratoire de Plump in the deepest darkest depths of seedy 
Soho the Plump DJs have produced and unleashed four major artist albums to date, 
Eargasm, A Plump Night Out, Saturday Night Lotion and Headthrash, all hugely 
acclaimed by both fans and music press alike.

The Plumps have also enjoyed major success both in the clubs and on the charts

For this visit to SF, the guys will be playing on the amazing Funktion One Sound
