[SpaceCowboys-Announce] Traditions! Space Cowboy Events for February

Hello Friendly People!

With 8ball buried under the constant wear and tear of the corporate world, I thought I'd take a moment to address the traditions we have here at Space Cowboys.  We've been going to Burning Man for roughly 10+ years.  We've been driving our Unimog around the playa, San Francisco and greater California for almost seven years.  There have been the on again off again montlies all over the city from Amnesia, Il Pirata, Sublounge, House of Shields, Shine and Mighty.  We have traditionally taken part in several street fairs & parades such as: How Weird, Decompression, Carnaval, Love Parade, & Yuri's Night.  And who could forget our the favorite tradition of Space Cowboy's Halloween!  Bride of Debaucheries,  Son of Debaucheries, the Motor Cycle Club, that crazy space on Grove, the undergrounds, the renegades.  We're pretty proud of all of those traditions.  And of course we can't forget our favorite, Breakfast of Champions.  The party that runs itself.  I imagine that once the Space Cowboys are long gone, the tradition of skipping out on the big NYE parties and getting up at 6AM to party with 3000 of your favorite people will still carry on.  We can only hope, right? 

And then - there is Snow Fest....

The time has come to bust open the tradition of rocking out on the Unimog at Squaw Valley on the first Saturday of March.  That's right, you heard it here first, the Unimog is moving on.  We'll still be at Squaw on Friday Feb 29th for those that traditionally play hooky to hit the slopes on a non-weekend day with less crowds.  We'll keep the Mog at Squaw Friday evening to watch the fireworks and torch skiers.  And we'll still be rocking out inside of Squaw on Friday and Saturday nights at Zenbu inside of the Olympic Plaza at the base of Squaw.  But this year we will be celebrating slopeside on Saturday at Homewood.  Homewood?  That tiny place?  YESSIR!  Not only will the Mog be at Homewood, but we will be rocking out on the deck for their annual Sick & Twisted Big Air contest on March 1st.  Flying snowboards, blasting bass, and the ever orange cockpit of our bi-seasonal Unimog.  What else could you want?
