UNIMOG SIGHTING!



If you think about it, Steampunk was bound to happen. After years of
envision the sleek Matrix mashed-up with Apple future through the
green-colored glasses of Al Gore, the world needed a good counter punch
in the form of coal-burner boiled retro anti-science scifi. In the
spirit of the Neverwas Haul, this year's incredibly ambitious Burning
Man project, the Steampunk Treehouse, promises to be an inspiring
addition to the Steampunk pantheon. These guys are crazy. To see how

BMorg has funded a generous slice of the pie, but there's still a gap,
and to help bridge it the Steampunk Treehouse folks are throwing a
fundraiser this Saturday, June 9th, at NIMBY in Oakland. And, while not
technically a steam-powered vehicle (yet?), the UNIMOG is certainly as
punk as any Gilman Street mohican, so we'll be driving over there to
add visions and later in the evening some beats to what promises to be
a fun, fiery and freaky good time.

you a couple of funrazors instead. For our first endeavor together,
we've got Australia's #1 dj comin back to SF for another show, and this
time it's goin to be at a little underground spot in SOMA. The venue is
on the smaller side, so we will be limiting attendance. You might want

The Deep End crew is very excited to be throwing a party at one of the
most beautiful spaces in the city, Supperclub. This will be a slightly
more formal affair than our past fundraisers. You have the option of
