Short & sweet for this sunny Friday...

Wanted to let you know about Mighty Breaks tonight!  It is the last MB of 
2006, and we would like to invite you to see & hear more fresh new talent 
that Mighty Breaks has consistantly brought you through  the years (almost 2 
years, stayed tuned for anniversary in January with some twin percussion 
talent...)

Tonight is a UK vs SF label showdown between Splank & Sleevin.  Splank UK is 
made up of Chris Hughes & Jonny Strinati.  It is their first time in SF as 
well as in the US.  Greenies!  They are influenced by the funk and fun 
breaks of FingerLickin & Friendly, so much so that they decided to start up 
their own label a few years back in the tradition of booty driven, funky 
sampled and sweetly styled dance off break beats.  They have collaborated 
with the likes of Myagi, Simply Jeff, Nick Thayer & Circuitbreaker.  See all

Splank is facing up with Sleevin Records SF - yes, SF has another strong
breaks label in town featuring our top chop Mancub!  Joining Mancub will be
Simo with a live DnB MC, Techture, Native Intelligence & Mycho Cocoa.  Check

Stay tuned for more BOC news before the break.  Our very own elves are now 
sworn to silence on the events of the day.  All I can say is leave your 
chopsticks at home.

Oh - and if anyone has a copy of MoFo magazine, there was a mention of the 
Unimog in it.  Send it along!  I can't find the zine anywhere...
