Hello Friendly Person: 

First, huge thanks to everyone who showed up and said
Hi to us at 550, Love Parade, and so on. Whether you
remember any of it or not (I for one don't), your
presence was appreciated and will no doubt ensure our
continued involvement in the community, or to
paraphrase Sally Field, "You like us, you really like
us!" 

So, I witnessed the following scene yesterday, for
realsies:

"Agreed loneliness is the root of most of my
problems," said the man to the clerk in the newsstand
yesterday. The man was a stubby shambles made extra
bulky by endless layers of flannel and tweed, and he
was bald, but only to his ears, from there his hair
ran long, a greasy collar draping his shoulders. The
clerk was your average newsstand slacker.

"But I will never get a dog," the man continued.
"Sometimes a dog must be whipped." 

Well, guess what DOG? If you thought you'd settle down
for a nap after LOVE PARADE and AFTER THE LOVE, then
you do need a whippin', because you plum forgot
VISION, BURNING MAN DECOMPRESSION and some other party
me, Mancub and Smoove are playing that's inbetween!

and all night, this Sunday at BM Decompression. We'll
be holded on one end of the street being extremely

The Anti-Art Auction at Roshambo Winery+Gallery. This
is an opportunity to sample wine and art and purchase
Artwork not often seen at your typical winery. Runs
from 5PM to 8PM, with music by your friendly
neighborhood 8Ball. Art on display now through

Nov. 12, Friday: 
So for the last (shit I don't know how many but it's a
lot) years we've done this New Year's Day party called
BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS. Some of you may have heard of
it. Some of you may even remember it. Lee Coombs did;
he was one of our favorite guest DJs, and he rang in
several of our New Year's with his grimy acid house
beats. It's been a while since his album FUTURE SOUND
OF RETRO, and now finally he's got a new one. What
does he go and call it? BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS! As you
can imagine we're all quite pleased at the impression
we apparently made on the lad. And who better to help
throw the record release party? Expect guest DJs from
BoC's past, all your favorite Space Cowboy DJs, and
LEE FUCKIN COOMBS hisself (www.leecoombs.com)! We want
to see everyone at this party, so we're going to add
several reams of paper to the guestlist to make sure
